02 / Clean energy
More possibilities from the sun.
VET-OS
The energy project explores solar power and cleaner cooking for village homes. VET-OS is a demonstration website that brings these choices together so the team can explore what might help.
WHAT WE’RE EXPLORING
Three things to work on.
- 01
Understand each home
Learn how families use electricity and cook their food.
- 02
Explore cleaner choices
Compare solar power and cleaner ways to cook.
- 03
Work out the next steps
Check costs, possible support and what each household needs.
A note on this project’s stage
A demonstration website is not evidence of completed installations. Village needs, costs, possible support and delivery plans still need checking. NIT Kurukshetra also works on dairy; further details of that work are pending.
